What's with all these photo images of people being used as smileys? That's not a smiley, by definition. Those are just images.

Anyway, here are a couple of real smileys that I like from other forums. I like them because they are so expressive and usually convey with something I am trying to show strong emphasis over. I have not seen these in this forum. Some are close but nothing like these:

I agree with you Seth. There were just so many smilies and a bunch of them were either taking up space and not being used or used by a small group of people.

I have a proposal for you guys...

Start up a Photobucket album (or Imageshack, I don't care), save whatever smilies that aren't uploaded here and then upload them to your album. Make a new folder in your bookmarks menu labeled "Smilies" (or however you like to spell it). Go back to your album and get the URL for every individual smilie. Put the smilie URL in the address bar and hit Enter so that all you see on the page is the smilie that you uploaded. Now go bookmark it and be sure to place it under the smilie folder in your bookmarks. Ta-da! You're done!

If you're smart like me and use Firefox, it's not very time-consuming to retrieve the URL of a smilie you have uploaded to Photobucket. Just go to your smilies folder in your bookmarks, right-click on a smilie listing you want to use and click on "copy." That will copy the URL without you having to click ON the bookmark directly to view the smilie. If you copy it that way, your bookmark menu will minimize and you can now paste the URL of the smilie in your post. It's not hard, trust me. See -- I have one. I've even shown how you copy the URL without having to click on it to view the smilie.

I have an ASSLOAD of smilies I'd LOVE to see on here, but that will NEVAR EVAR happen, so I resort to bookmarking them. No biggie.

I'm sorry you guys don't like the smilies being removed...but that's how it is going to be now. And besides, with Photobucket, you get more freedom to upload what you want to. ;)
