I was just wondering how everyone found out about Three's Company and started watching it. I personally was bored one day so I saw it and fell in love ever since. :) :) :)

I watched it from the beginning too. I remember watching the first episode the night it premiered. My mom was pregnant at the time and we had gotten a tv for her bedroom. Before then we only had one tv so I was in the living room and was just changing the channels when I came across it. I've been a fan every since.

You guys are so lucky to have been there the first time it aired!! I really became a huge fan just after John died. But I grew up with it! I was around 10 years old when I was flipping through the channels and I saw John Ritter falling out of the hammock. I almost died laughing!! But it wasn't really my kind of show. At the time new shows were coming on that I liked better. What was I thinking?! It's one of the only shows I enjoy watching now! :D

He was my 3rd crush. I know he was before Larry Wilcox and Erik Estrada from Chips.

I don't really remember how I came across it. Sometimes when Family Ties was still on TV Land. I also remember seeing the show title on my TV Guide but I never bothered watching it until one day I did, and the first episode I watched was "Stanley's Hotline". So I become hooked with it and John Ritter ever since. :D

I was first saw it late one night when the show I was watching on Tivo ended and I was too lazy to get the remote. I started watching it and after a few minutes I realized it was the pilot. I've been watching the entire series on TV Land every night since. Yet another example of how being lazy can really pay off. :D

Hey, laziness does pay off!!!! LOL!!

Anyway, I discovered the show back when it first started airing on Nick at Nite. I remember they were airing an all week marathon of the show, and I had no idea what the show was about since the previews to it had the cast of survivior  Anyway, one day I tuned in to watch "The Facts Of Life" and it wasn't on because of the "Three's Company" marathon. I thought Gosh, this show is ALWAYS on now, what's so great about it? I decided to leave it on Nick at Nite and check it out. I've loved it ever since that day that I saw it for the first time, (the episode was "Out On A Limb") and of course, John Ritter as well. I continued watching the all week marathon and became completely hooked!! I never did get "unhooked" from the show  .

Well, I always remember Three's Company being on in syndication when I was a kid....I was born in 1982, and TC ended in 1984 and most likely went in to syndication not too long after....so, as a young'un, I can still recall all the theme songs playing on my t.v. for Three's Company...I'd remember thinking to myself, "What a weird show!" and I'd turn on Sesame Street or Muppet Babies  I guess I wasn't too interested in sitcoms because I was forced to suffer through them with my teenaged babysitter

Fast forward 18+ years....it was the summer where they ran a Three's Company marathon the whole weekend...does anyone recall if it was before or after John died? I think it was after because I could've sworn it was in 2004(July?) I remember it being a really hot weekend and there was nothing to do(and I'm lazy just like the rest of you! ) I just happened to turn on that channel and caught "Love Diary"....I'm not sure if that was the first episode I saw, but it was the one that stands out in my mind...anyway, I thought it was sooooo hysterical....I remember being angry that I had to go to work that day and miss most of the marathon! :happyface

Yep, original airings here, too. I was only eight when the show went off but still remember how they cliffhangered all summer, then finally aired the finale in September I think. STILL remember my gramma busting up when John was flipping the pillows over and over in bed with Vicki. Pretty sure TC had been in syndie since about 81 or 82, normally a show does after its fourth year.

Hard to believe it's been like 20 years now I've watched the reruns. And though I know every line, I still watch. They aired on the LA Fox station here from like 87-92, then they got yanked and I didn't see them for like five years, which was good. I had forgotten parts of episodes so it was like watching for the first time. Oh, that's right, TBS had them for a while in the late 90s. Then TNN, Nick, and now TV Land and DVD.

I was living in Scotland in 2003 when I checked the internet on a break at work. Saw on Yahoo "John Ritter dead at 54." I was numb all day, and over there the show wasn't popular, so I had no one to grieve with. John just had that affect, this guy who had been on your living room tv for 20+ years.

I was flipping through the channels (on a black & white TV) on March 15, 1977 and saw a TV show and a scene in which some guy wakes up in a bathtub. I became a regular viewer since then! :)

(I turned 16 years old later that same year.)

I first watched it when they had that marathon on N@N for it being a new addition to the lineup. I immediately loved it and watched it ever since.

I first saw it on nick at nite when I was about 12. I thought it was so awesome because up until that point I'd never laughed so hard in my life. Rooarrr so I became obsessed in about 2002. The obsession died down but I still watch it now and then, especially now because it's summer. It's easier to catch it.

I first started watching TC when Nick @ Nite began airing. I think the first episode I saw was the first episode N@N aired - "Room at the Bottom," from season 5.
