I am realistic about the season. I think the Giants will be 8-8. I hope they do better than that, but that's a realistic prediction. As much as I hate to say it, the Eagles will probably represent the NFC in the Super Bowl again this year.

I have no idea how good or bad the Cowboys will be. They got another old qb. He has to be better than Vinnie but he didn't look that great his last year in Buffalo. It probably will come down to how the defense is. Thats what happened last year. The defense came apart and the offense was never any good anyway. I just hope more teams in the NFC step up to challange the Eagles. Last year was sick. Atlanta was really the only other playoff team in the NFC last year. The rest were just lucky to play in that conference to have a chance at the playoffs.

I can hardly wait! It'll be interesting to watch a much improved Vikings defense, along with a not quite so Mossy offense.

Hopefully the NFL will cut back on some of the dam commercial breaks. I love the NFL but it is becoming almost impossible to sit through a 31/2 hour regular season game with only 60 minutes of game time.

Cowboys past 2 years:

2003 - 10-6
2004 - 6 - 10

2005:

2005 - 8 - 8?

Unfortunately an 8 - 8 record in the third year of a Bill Parcells tenure usually turns into a trip to the hospital and a team scrambling to find a new direction.

But if Bledsoe shows me something in the first few games, then I can believe there is hope for the Boys. And obviously the number 1 defense of 2 years ago has to pick it up for any of this to mean a thing.

And if the Eagles are just going to go through the motions again, I hope some other team- whoever it is- in the NFC trounces them.

Dallas never had the number one defense. That defense of 2003 was a fraud. The defense was only doing well against teams with no offesne. So when it came time for dallas to play the eagles, pats, dolphins, they folded up. I swear they had me fooled into thinking they were a good defense. Good defenses don;t give up 38 pts on Thanksgiving day-lol

Kind of off topic, but my city is getting the Dallas Cowboys in a few years. I don't know if they are still going to call them the Dallas Cowboys, because they'll be playing in Arlington. That just sounds dumb, The Arlington Cowboys.

They'll always be the Dallas Cowboys. The name is to recognizable to change. Besides they haven't played in Dallas since 1971. They've been playing in Irving Texas since then.

I thought that too. That's fine. I voted against them moving here, but whatever.

can't be too dull, if the Superbowl is the MOST WATCHED TV Program of every year

Yea I don't know how its dull. Everyplay something different happens. Thats one of the reasons I like it so much. I always thought baseball was kind of dull which is why I don't watch much of it until the playoffs.

Thanks.

Steelers are the number one family favorite team.

Cowboys are second. We went to school with TD back in the day.

If Ty Law, another homeboy, signs with Detroit, they will be the families 3rd favorite team.

Yes hopefully Joey Harrington has a good year. But even if he does do crappy I wouldn't mind seeing Jeff Garcia play. Anything that gets the Lions some wins and I will be happy.

That's the first time I've ever heard another guy say that the CFL was better than the NFL.
