Sorry if there's already a thread for this show, but anyway I picked up the first series recently, watched the first few episodes, I'm a fan already, really funny, well written, creative, and the main characters do a great job with their roles.
I'm developing a crush on the lady operating the store next to the book shop ;)

Could you tell me if the US DVD release is in OAR, the UK DVD set I have matches a 16:9 ratio but the episodes that air on BBCAmerica are neither OAR nor fullscreen but somewhere in between.

I actually bought the English version, I picked up a multiregion player because many Britcoms aren't available in US format.

I just received this series in a trade & started watching the first episode. What a riot!!!!

Good chemistry between the 3 of them, makes the show.

Funny show, not hysterical. Good characters.

Doesn't hold a candle to "Spaced" though.

I think if more Americans saw Spaced, they would be hooked.
It is the funniest and smartest modern sitcom I've ever seen- if you are aged 30 - 45, that is.

I suppose a lot of references would be lost on the pop culture ignorant though.

Just got the 3rd series of BB, seems a tad less inspired than the first 2 series, but definately worth picking up. I like Spaced too, find 'em to be of a similiar level.
