I have had the internet since 2002 in my home. And right after that i started dating less and less.lol In 2001 i went on a date every 4 days.

I think that was about the same time that I had it too.

1995-1996 we had dial up for a couple years (until 2000 I think) then we got high speed.

Had dial-up in 2002 and moved to DSL in 2003

I've had it since around 1994. With the old Prodigy and then AOL, until I got broadband in like 01 or 02.

We had internet for the first time around 1996 or 1997, and DSL in 2001.

Got dial-up in 1996. I can still hear that awful sound while it 'dialed up'. :eek:

That dial-up sound was horrible. We had dial-up from about 1997 until 2001 when we moved into my new house and got DSL.

Iv'e had a dial up connection since August 5, 2001, so it's been almost four years for me. I think it's about time I upgrade to a cable modem though.

I'm not sure. I know we started with AOL 4.0 dial up... maybe in 1999? It was probably around there, but it might have been earlier.

We had dialup way back in 1991, when we got our first computer. :eek: It was Prodigy, and my brother was on Prodigy allllll the time. We had a dialup connection at home until...Wow, I don't know. 1994/95, maybe? We had no internet for a while when we moved...then we got the internet again in 1996 and it's been that way ever since. My dad jumped on the broadband bandwagon in early 2001 and I finally went broadband in late 2003.

Remember the infamous Y2K thing on New Years Day 2000? Well, I was worried sick about all the computers failing until a computer expert that I know said that it was all hype and not too worry! :lol: Sure enough we entered the new century just fine! :happyface

I started with Juno. Then ATT. Then Earthlink. Now I am with Peoplepc. I like it. I would like to get satillite or cable modem but I think that they are way way over priced! :rolleyes:
I am a patient person and I can wait for dial up. I am not in that big of a hurry! :lol:
