Has anyone ever gotten a speeding ticket???

I luckily have not, I have been pulled over for running red lights, but they usually let you out of that.

No, which is surprising. I have such a lead foot.

My driving sin is going to be road rage. Oh man... you should hear me in the car.

Ive been pulled over twice, but only given one ticket. I got really lucky last time, considering it was from a statey. Ive been flashed though more times than I can remember.

I went about 26 years and finally got nailed with a GOOD one back in 1998. $313 and 2 points!! Went to court and had it reduced though. I was framed by a dyke cop!!

Yeah, I know, but I just tried to tell myself after all those years of speeding and getting away with it, that it didn't work out too badly. Its just the b*tch let a van go who was only 5 car lengths ahead of me. I asked her why she let him go and not me, she said because he had slowed down enough in time that her radar couldn't get him - meanwhile, the physics of that don't work out - if he had slowed down, and I was supposedly going 40 kms (we're in kms, not miles) over, wouldn't I be THROUGH the van ahead of me then? Or at least rear-ending him? I chickened out in court though and pled to the lesser amount. :grr:

I guess. Either that or she rides her bike really fast, one or the either.

The first 5 years of my driving life I was hell on wheels! Had my licence suspended for 6 months. Finally pulled my head out and started slowing done a little. Just a little. Haven't had a ticket in probably 10 years.

No tickets for speeding here, just for expired tags. My ex's fault

Nope, not yet, which is surprising because I speed all the time. I'm pretty sure I know where I am going to get pulled over for that first speeding ticket to but it doesn't stop me. *waves finger at myself*

I've only had one speeding ticket and that was back in 1995 when I was 19. The fine was close to $200 and a Saturday in traffic court.

I don't drive, so no. I HAVE been in the car on two different occasions when the driver got pulled over. The first time, the driver got off with a warning. The second time was recently -- at the beginning of June, over a month ago. The driver got a ticket.

My mom got pulled over last Sunday, but got off with a warning. I really don't think she was even speeding. It was just a stuck up cop in a rich area.

I was in a car that got pulled over once too. It was hilarious, because I was sitting in the front seat and she was tailing a sheriff (um...DUH). He signaled her to pull over and I had to tell her what he wanted. We were coming home for the weekend from school, so there were 5 of us, and everyone but me thought she was right, but I knew better...she was tailing that guy something awful. I laugh now, because I hate her anyway.

What were you driving? A 427 Camaro?!?
I remember a high school student who had 19 moving violations! he drove a '68 or '69 Chevelle.

I've never had a speeding ticket, and I would sometimes street race my '66 Dodge Dart (not formal, just when someone pulls up next to you and you decide to race him).

Never had a ticket for anything. I've been pulled over only once though. Last year on my way to work a cop stopped me because he said I ran a red light. I still say it was yellow but the cop let me go so I wasn't about to argue.

No. They could have given me a ticket when I wrecked my car but I was crying so I don't think they wanted to add insult to injury.

I have a friend who is a consistent speeder, and he says that the really pale cops give out more tickets than the tan surfer looking cops. Has anyone ever encountered a situation like this???

Nope, although I wouldn't mind getting pulled over by a tan surfer looking cop. That sounds kind of hot. ;)
