....Burned the formula!!! In episode "The Sleeping Cutie" Grandpa invented his "Instant Gasoline Pill" which turns water into gasoline. As I look at the gas prices today, $2.57 for premium in my area (suburbs of Philly) boy how we could have used his formula now! Gas prices in 1964-67 were about .31-.33 cents a gallon. I guess high in those days for Grandpa to invent his pill. He was offered $50,000 to keep his formula OFF the market.

Also in this episode Herman (or in reality the writers) said something prophetic.. quote

"You know Grandpa your invention may revolutionize motoring, instead of gasoline we may all need credit cards to buy water"

How true it that today!
