No show since have I noticed so much double-taking. John was a master at it, being insulted, but half-smiling and starting a sentece, only to freeze and realize what was said. But even DeWitt and Barnes sometimes would jump up and down in joy, only to realize bad news was just said. Unrealistic, but funny.

Suzanne Somers would often do that too I noticed. I always thought, how unrealistic, but I thought it was really funny. Especially when John Ritter and Richard Kline did it; I think John is the one that did it the most out of the entire cast.
