Any one wacth Animal Planet? Jeff Corwin is pretty good, he's a lot better then the crocadile Hunter. I also like the Animal Cops of Houston,Miamie and other cities, what some people do to there pets is very sad.

I LOVE it (of course). One of my favourite channels.

I like the Animal Cops shows and Emergency Vets, but usually end up getting all emotional so I have to limit myself on those!

Pet Star is good (although Mario Lopez can be annoying), and I really loved the Growing Up Grizzly series.

Planet's Funniest Animals is great too, although again, Matt Galant.....- although I think next season its a new host.

I love Animal Planet... but not as much as I love the History Channel. And no, I'm not being facetious. I love history. But AP is definitely a good channel.

Yes, I used to love the show O'Shea's Big Adventure, but I dont think that has been shown in years. He was an exploer guy, but not as wild/cocained-up as most of those other guys with shows on there.

I also used to watch the Croc Hunter every Thursday, or whatever night it was on. That was for a year or so, then he started becoming too much of a celebrity, etc.

It is also one of the few networks that is safe to have little kids watch most of the time.

I love my dog, how can you not love animals, I hate people when they abuse them,I think animals aresometimes better then people(dogs, cats,ETC) Fish also. I always had pets when I was growing up, and they help you live longer also. Fish helps you relax. Pets are awsome they only want your love,to be peted, played with and of course feed them, but I know some people do not like animals and it's there thing.

You're not going to believe this.....but yaesssss - as a matter of fact they do! BlueJays, Cardinals, Gold Finches, Nuthatches (REALLY nice songbird), Crows, Hawks, Robins...sorry you asked right?

Even have bats that drink out of the pool at dusk - its really cool to watch. And they eat the insects! :)

Was that like "Hammy Hamster"? I think that one WAS a Canadian one - just real hamsters running around a set of trees, streams and stuff?

They really do! They are just so cool. We were "swarmed" onetime in my teens by them and at first I was terrified, but once I realized its just a wive's tale about them getting caught in your hair I was fine. All the wildlife stores around here sell "batboxes" - like bird houses only for bats. I'm planning on getting a couple. They really help control the insect population.

I watch that channel from time to time. My favorite shows are: Animal Vets, Animal E.R., That's My Baby, Adoption Stories, and Animal Precinct. The only thing I hate about Animal Precinct is that the punishment for some of the people who hurt animals, is always so small. I think anyone who abuses an animal to the point of the animal dying, should get atleast five years in jail. Not a $500.00 fine, and 100 hours of community service, as is usually the case on the show. Btw, does anyone know what the difference is between Animal Cops, Animal Precinct, and Animal Police?? They seem like the same show to me, only with different names.

I don't know the difference either - they all seem to showcase animal cops in different cities. I agree, the punishments should be more severe. The laws are even worse here in Canada. I'm working with different organizations to get the laws changed. Anyone who abuses an animal is beyond contempt!

And yes, they do help you live longer. Its proven that just by petting an animal, it'll lower your blood pressure. Their benefits are endless. They even have found that autistics respond better when they have a dog with them. There are a couple of boys in a nearby town who recently got assistance dogs. They also help protect them from running into traffic and such. We owe a lot to animals and being the highest on the chain, I believe its our DUTY to look out for them and protect them.

It's cool that you're trying to get the laws changed in your Country. If every animal lover did that, you can bet that the laws for such cruel acts would be much much stiffer. I think God put everything on this Earth for a purpose, even animals, and that purpose isn't for them to be treated like crap. Most animals would give up their lives in a heartbeat for their owners, no matter how cruel they are to them, so for their owners to respond to that by abusing them, is beyond me. You have to be absolutely sick in the head to do a thing like that. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who partakes in abusing an animal, is a guttless coward, and should be ashamed of themselves!!!

I know my dogs would give their lives for us, and as crazy as this will sound to a lot of people, I'm totally willing to give my life for them. As you say, God put all of us animals on this planet and us being the highest ranking, its our DUTY to him to watch over them as much as we can. They enrich our lives soooooo much!!!
