I think this is one of the older cases. There was a girl (possibly Hispanic or Native American) that was abducted. I remember her mother or some relative picking up the phone weeks after the abduction and the voice saying, “I’m in Albuquerque”.

That’s all I remember.

Can anyone refresh my memory on this case?

Thank You!! :)

Sounds like you're refering to the case of Anthonette Cayedito.

The girl was abducted from her home in the middle of the night by a man who knocked on her front door. When she asked who it was he claimed it was her "uncle bill" I believe - When she opened the door she was grabbed and thrown in a car and taken away - all of this was wittnessed by her younger sister.

There were some phone calls from the girl I believe at some point and her mother sought out some type of Native American Psychic who did rituals with crystals to see if she could help pinpoint a location of to where her daughter was being held.

UM was only allowed to film a portion of the ritual but the psychic did say that Antionette was being held against her will somewhere in the southwest. The case to my knowledge has never been updated or solved.

Later.

According to that link, she is still missing and is most likely dead. You shouldn't believe psychics. They are not reliable. Remember the south park episode with John Edwards?

John Edwards is such a hoax! I know a TV producer who claims the set is wired and they listen to the audience waiting for someone to say I hope I hear from "insert loved one." Then miraculously, that person hears from "insert loved one."

John Edwards is such a hoax!

I like the South Park version better: "John Edwards is the biggest douche in the universe."

Is this the story where the girl was seen at a McDonalds or something and she left a note for the waitress? I saw that one when I was a kid and havent seen it since.

I seem to vaguely remember this one, too -- anyone know which case we're thinking about here?

Yes, thats the one you're thinking of but they didn't say McDonalds. They didn't say what kind of restaurant but it looked more like a Denny's type. She would drop her fork and then when the waitress picked it up she would squeeze her hand. Then when the waitress came to bus the table found a napkin with the words "help me, call police" written on it under her plate.
