In my mind two of the best shows on television were the Mary Tyler More Show and All In The Family. That they should have come on TV at almost the same time, is amazing. I thank both for some of the best memories of my childhood.

They were simply the best. And I truly do love Mary. And the show had one of the best theme songs ever, fitting the subject.
