You never hear a report saying, some 26 yr old male accountant...

that's terrible. :( i'll never understand for the sake of my life how people have the hearts to abuse such precious animals.

my grandma is obsessed with cats, to put it lightly. i visited her about a month ago. you pretty much can't look in any direction in her apartment without seeing a picture or figure of a cat. i don't see how anyone could blame her either.

Oh I can see that! Sounds like my place - I started with cat pics and figurines, now its expanded into dogs, pigs, chickens, cows, horses (can ya tell we're in the country)? Anyone who knows me, knows if I could, I have a donkey, miniature horse, ducks, pygmy goats (those little guys that faint when they get scared), more cats and dogs. I just have to force myself when to draw the line - and I'm at it with 5 cats, 2 dogs! :lol:
It's actually the reason I DIDN'T become a vet - I knew I'd be dragging everything that came in to be put down home with me. :crazy:

I know someone who's only in her 40s but she's getting there. She lives in a small one-bedroom apt. with about 7 cats that she's taken in as strays. She also feeds a bevvy of them outside the building. She's working two jobs to be able to afford food, but is barely making ends meet. As much as you love them, its not good for the person or the animals when you stretch yourself too far.

People who neglect their pets dont deserve to keep them!! ( End of sermon )

I was watching this show on Animal Planet one night, and the SPCA took something like 100 rabbits out of this old lady's house. The floor was covered in poop, dead bunnies on the floor...it was SICK.

My mom's aunt feeds strays. And they all tell all the cats around where to go. So many cats... But I don't think she's let any of them inside. Heck, she had a dog but she couldn't walk it like it should have been and it got fat and diabetic and I think they had to put him down.
