With out tom Arnold? Now I Am A Huge Roseanne (The Person Fan) And I Have Always Taken her Side In That Situation, But With out Tom Arnold Do You Think The Show Would have Gotten As Good as It Was When He Was Around? Personally, I Think No. I Think Roseanne's Crasiness Shined The Most When Someone Else Crazy Was Right By Her Side. I Think She Spoke Up The Most And Got The Most Power When Tom Was Around With Out Him I Don't Think she Would Have Gotten Her Way as Much, And I Am Glad That Roseanne And Tom Broke Up (I Heard He Was Abusive) I Think Those Last Couple of Seasons (7-9) Strained With Out Him.

I honestly don't think it would have made a difference had he not been there. Tom's character was alright and all, but you can hire a ton of actors to play the big dumb guy. I don't think there was anything about his character that was great, or added anything special to the show. Personally, I thought Dan's dumb friend Dwight, from the first season, could have played the role of Arnie just as well as Tom did.

Im Not Talking About His On Air Role Im Talking About His Influence. Backstage The Show Became it's best When Him And Roseanne We're In Charge. As For His Dumb Role He Was The Best With Bob Not Far Behind But i don't Think the Actor Who Played Dwight Could Have Pulled of That Stupid of a Character...

I Don't Know How You Can Type Like This... It's Crazy!!

I personally hated Tom's character. I'm not sure about his involvement behind the scenes though.
