Paul McCartney is back with a new album, after four years since his last studio audio set, “Drivin Rain”.

For his new album, 'Chaos and Creation in the Back Yard', he worked with Nigel Godrich, the collaborator of Radiohead, Travis and Beck.

"When Paul and I got together we had a common goal," said Godrich. "We wanted to
make a great album that was true to Paul. I think that's exactly what we did”, added the famous producer.

The event marks the 20th album release for Paul McCartney, since the end of the Beatles, and coincides with his big 37-city "US" Tour, which might be the artist’s fastest selling tour ever.
The 13-track album is set for September 13, while the tour opens on September 16.

Speaking of his album, McCartney said he did not want to rush the recordings.
"I think it was worth the wait though. The music became more interesting over time and I'm really proud of what we did", mentioned the artist.

Fine Line
How Kind Of You

He seems to be on a four-year cycle beginning with Flowers In the Dirt from 1989. Some of his work from 1989 on has been good, some of it not so good.

I have to agree with you. I am looking forward to the new CD since the tix are too expensive for me to go to the concert.

This one has a lot of promise. It's a return to the one-man band approach teken in McCartney. I'm looking forward to it.
