Did he really say that! Wow I always thought Gladys was so underrated. I think she has such a beautiful voice. I would love to see that happen.

For me I would like to see Steve Perry and Barbara Streisand or Steve Perry and Ann Wilson or Steve Perry singing a duet with Gregg Rolie one last time. Or even Steve Perry and Gladys Knight.

I can't wait for Christina's new song with Herbie Hancock. It's supposed to come out some time this August!

Paul said that on a radio show once. When I heard that, I said t omyslef, "YESSSSSS!" Because it meant that a Beatle held Gladys Knight in higher esteem than Diana Ross. At Motown in the sixties, it was the other way around.

Let me explain this using terminology from another Detroit company: When it came to getting attention from Berry Gordy, Gladys Knight played Pontiac to Diana Ross's Chevrolet.

Well we can all see that Diana made a deal with the Devil, and he is collecting now. ;)

I have said time and time again Gladys is a great talent that has been over looked for many years. I always thought she was better than both Dionne and Patti La Belle. JMO! Glady's rendition of "The Way We Were" is so moving. If you haven't heard it you must find it and listen.

Wow, this post is old.

A little update: "A Song for You" ended up being amazing and it even got a Grammy nod.

Even though she's no longer with us, I would have LOVED to hear a duet between Karen Carpenter and her good friend Olivia Newton-John.

Steve Perry and Gregg Rolie singing together again...wouldn't that be great?? Their shared vocals on "Feeling That Way" and "Just the Same Way" are classic. Steve Perry and Ann Wilson is another good one. How about Steve Perry and Mariah Carey?? She did a cover of "Open Arms" several years back, but I firmly believe that that song only belong to Steve. :)
