Has anyone ever notice that in many scenes DJ always seemed to quickly be in the scene than ran off quickly?

Kiriashra 09-14-2005, 12:05 AM yes! I always notice that. Like he would run into the kitchen then scatter off again. I think he was a fill-in for a lot of the show, just something to put in. Dumballa 09-14-2005, 12:20 AM Absolutely. He never really had that many lines in one episode, till what, the later years. But this is a good point because it makes me think of another reason I really enjoy the show. It adds authenticity to the show by having DJ run in and out and be present on screen even though he has no lines. Ireneparalegal 09-14-2005, 12:21 AM Yeah, it was realistic to me. Kids running in and out of the house. I remember when my daughter was that age. She spent more time at her friend's house than our house. Rene 09-14-2005, 12:22 AM i liked that b/c it was realistic i like the moments when roseanne or dan would just say "knock it off DJ" w/out making it a big deal or tryin to be funny or something. thats why i really liked the beginning of the show, it was very realistic in the sense that they just had moments where no one was trying to be funny and there would be kinda awkward momnets Ireneparalegal 09-14-2005, 12:26 AM you know what was cute too, when one of the girls would complain to Roseanne or Dan abt DJ doing something wrong and his parents just blew them off!!! ROTFLMAO!! Or, they would tell DJ something, but the way they did it was like this "dj, stop doing whatever it is your doing" in this voice that barely went up an octave. Dumballa 09-14-2005, 12:33 AM Yeah the episode when they find the doll heads in the shoe box under DJ's bed comes to mind right away. Darlene and Becky are totally freaked out and go to mom and pa for a resolution, only to find they're happy that he wasn't playing with them. :groucho Ireneparalegal 09-14-2005, 12:36 AM Yeah the episode when they find the doll heads in the shoe box under DJ's bed comes to mind right away.
