Something I really never quite understood about Weasel on Family Matters is how he originated. He first appeared in an episode in Season 4 as one of Ted's friends. But his name was Alex. So I figured it must have been the same actor, different charachter. I think his next appearance was in the episode with The School Fair and Sadie Hawkins Dance. That was when he was first introduced as Eddie's friend Weasel. But in both episodes he used the same catch phrase. "You talking to me?" "Yes!" "Just asking, go head" Did anyone other than me notice this strange fact? It was the same actor, but different charachter, yet same catch phrase.

It was the same character, there was an eps where Weasel and Carl met for the 1st time in the living room and Weasel told Carl "My name is Alex Park, I go by Weasel." Do you remember that eps, I think it was in the beginning of a season 4 eps when Eddie came home late with Waldo and Weasel.

That's right! I forgot. Believe it or not, the scene where Weasel introduced himself was actually cut out of the syndicated version of this episode. It was however brought back on ABC Family.
