I just happened to notice this today while watching, "We Closed In Minneapolis" while babysitting today. In the episode Mary is very excited that Murray's play is *Finally* going to be done. Well she jumps in for a hug and he does the same thing.
Well in the ending credits they show this, but it's a "twirl hug". You know what I mean? He hugs back and spins her into the air. Well I went back to watch the scene again. This little part looks to be *CUT* from the actual show!! Ah! I thought DVDs were to be UNCUT!!
Anyone else notice this?

Sometimes the closing credits would include clips from scenes that were cut or shortened in the episode itself (because of time limits). That's probably what happened there.
There is one cut on the DVD: they cut part of Mary singing "White Christmas" because they couldn't clear the rights to the song for the DVD. Otherwise I think the episodes are all uncut.

I haven't watched this ep. in a long time, but isn't it also possible that the scene in the end credits is from a different take than was used in the actual show? Just a theory, b/c I hadn't heard of any other cuts on the DVD's, aside from the "White Christmas" thing mentioend above.

No, Mary does sing, "White Christmas" because it's on my DVD. I watch that ep all the time. It's not the whole song, but still. And anyway.. that's the point of DVDs, uncut episodes. At least my other Box Sets are all uncut!!
I can see your point, Kristen. I wasn't upset, just confused.
Another thing, it would make sense that since the companies that made the shows are making the DVDs... so they would have the uincut versions. But seriously that is one reason people want the DVDs.... for the uncut versions. I know because I am one of them... I also *love* the show. But also just ask "Who's The Boss?" Fans .. that is one reason we want all 8 Seasons on DVD.
