My favorite picture is the one where Kristie's husband's mullet is styling in the diner. It's too obvious the in-laws had something to do with it. It'd be interesting to see how this gets solved if at all.

I remember that case- and with ALL that evidence they showed (along with the fact that her own bereaved husband (their son/stepson) totally believed they were capable and had cut himself off from them as a result), I wonder why the authorities never charged them?

Most likely because there's not enough evidence (if any). Indeed, there has been a lot of suspicion concerning Jeff Lee's mother and stepfather, such as a questionable alibi, a hostile relationship with the victim, and reluctance to take a polygraph test. However, it's not enough to charge them with Kristi's murder.

Does anyone know if Kristie's murder has ever been solved?

I've been searching but have never found anything. It's pretty obvious that her in-laws were involved in her murder.
