Guys,

I hate how this hilarious sitcom gets chopped to shreds on FX! The other night, they had the episode where Kelly has to take tap dancing or quit school. I am pretty sure this line is in this episode and was omitted: Kelly says she hates school and wants to quit and Peg says:

Peg: "Gee Kelly, I don't know. Quitting school's a big step. That's where we get our pens and pencils, and our little cartons of milk!"

Al: (To Peg.) Look Mama Walton...(stops)...(To Kelly) Now look honey, you need school cuz it's important for your future.....OH WHO AM I KIDDING!!!??"

I think than FX picks up about Kelly's lines about how school helps her get dates, than she says something else that I can't remember, than she says, it's the only place where she can go to get a hot meal!"

I may be wrong about the above dialoge being in that episode, but I don't think so.

I buy the complete seasons on dvd, they arent butchered. They have everything. Even one season that had what they called the lost episode. It was an episode that was'nt showed on tv. At leaste they arent butchering the dvd's. I think sony makes these though. If you get the complete seasons on dvd you can watch anytime you want.

We would if they were in fact complete... only ONE single DVD release of Married with Children is truly complete - The Most Outrageous Episodes volume One.

ALL other dvd releases are missing something:
Most Outrageous Episodes Vol. 2 - "If Al had a Hammer" is the syndicated version
Season One - Music Alterations
Season Two - Footage missing from "girls just wanna have fun p1 and 2"
Season Three - Music Alterations in every single episode (the intro)
Season Four - A number of episodes on the DVD are the syndicated prints and not the full versions.
I wouldnt exactly call them complete.. but seasons 1 and 3 are the ones that are pretty much complete (no actual footage missing).

The "lost" episode was indeed shown on tv, just not in the US in the shows original airing.

I was talking about having a copy of each episode they made. As far as some footage in some episodes missing, I dont know because it's been so long since i saw married with children that when i get a new complete season dvd it's virtually all new to me. Im happy though just to have them.
