I know the Red Sox and St. Louis went to the world series last year. I'm new to Baseball. So how do you know who goes into the world series. Does the Standings have ot do with it? Does the same league have to play or it can be the American and National teams playing? how does it work? do we know who might go into the world series this year?
It will help me alot knowing how it works. Thanks

1. There are 3 Divisions in each League Each that has the Best Record in each Division & The Best Record for a non-Division Winner Make the Post-Season the non-Division Winner is the Wild Card
2. The Team that has Best Record in each league plays the Wild Card, And The Second Best-Division Leader Team plays the Weakest Division Winner & Also The Team that has the Best Record & The Wild Card Team are in the Same Division do not play against either in the First Round insted The Wild Card Winner plays 2nd-Best Division Winner well the Best Division Play the Weakest Division Team & The Top Two Division Leaders Gets Homefield
3. The Winner of each Series in the First Round Each team Plays in the League Championship Series which each team plays either & The Best Division Team Plays Get Homefield & Wild Card plays in the League Championship Series then any Division Winners get Home Field and the Winner of Series goes the World Series
4. Winners of each League played in the World Series It 4 out of 7, The League that win an All-Star Game get homefield & and Winner of this Series is World Champion
