Just got it this morning @ Virgin Megastore in The French Quarter (all for $21.75, too!).
And boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, what a revelation it is! It contains of plethora of Monkees filming data of which I was totally clueless; something which is totally in conflict with the data I have in The Monkees Film & TV Vault (members.tripod.com/~ahiii/monkeesfilmTV.html)!
Which means I've got quite a task ahead of me in the ways of revising, correcting and even adding several items in the episode, movie and TV special pages in the site. Look for them to sprout in The MF&TVV (members.tripod.com/~ahiii/monkeesfilmTV.html) within the days to come!
As enthralled as I was with the enormous data in the book, I was rather disappointed with one big oversight: the lack of Screen Gems production numbers to Monkees TV episodes (from scripts, call sheets and filming/telecast dates derived directly from SG original copy). I'll still be searching, crosschecking and digging through The World Wide Web, libraries, and many, many other sources until I get them all. And, if I'm lucky, I may happen upon some more. (I've noticed several recording master #s, though.)
At this rate, this portion of my grand task may never be compleet...
