It's probably for real. I've heard of sites like this and its amazing how much they're able to raise.

I wouldn't send money, but I do have a bunch of old towels that I could donate to the guy. Hey - who's to judge until you've rode a mile in his wheelchair. At least he has a legit problem. I've heard of people setting up sites for donations to get a "good haircut"!! :rolleyes:
