Here's what people have to say at the JTS website... http://www.jumptheshark.com/w/wings.htm

Personally, I think Wings jumped the shark when Joe and Helen got married and Lowell left. The later episodes just aren't as funny to me. I think the Golden Age of Wings was seasons two through six.

Yes, I'm agree about the commentary of Lowell.

Yeah once Bud came along it was bleh...it's like they were trying to hard to replace Lowell. Personally I do like after Joe and Helen got married though..it seemed like all the actors matured a bit, and their acting skills got a little better....I like all seasons and think that there all great but in season one they weren't yet polished in their skills....

Never. No, I didn't think Bud added anything to the show, but obviously the writers realized that too because he didn't exactly last long. But I loved the show all the way through.

Lowell was the show, plain and simple. Without him, it wasn't all that great.

Lowell wasn't even one of my favorites, but the show definitely wasn't the same without him.

To me, this show never really jumped cause it never got off the ground in the first place. For me, Wings was like doodling, something you did , when you had nothing else to do...it was a pleasant diversion, so long as nothing important was going on.

Just as soon as it left the airwaves, leaving us in the words of a 3-parter episode title, Wingless .
