much like Vashti took threads about TV-DVD's yet to come, this will be the shows that have been released on DVD but it's been quite a while since the last release and we've yet to hear word on future releases.

I put Happy Days. I love that show and want to see more seasons out of it.

That's tough. I like all of those shows but not really longing for any of them. Of all those shows, I only have season 1 of Charlie's Angels, not season 2. I'd vote for Laverne & Shirley.

I don't get the lag with the Marshall shows. Happy Days ran ELEVEN SEASONS, taking over a year per set isn't exactly helping, Henry Winkler will be in his 70's by the time season 11 comes out if Paramount stays so slow.

Also, I never saw the show, but come on, SWAT only lasted two seasons, even if sales were low, may as well release season 2 and get it overwith

yea, season 2 is definately Happy Days' finest moment IMO, even tho I know a lot of the Fonzie drones will disagree with me because "ratings mean everything" (if that's the case, they hate Richie so much, why wasn't the show ever a top 10 after Ron left like in the earlier seasons?). Seasons 1-3 were definately the best, even tho I will controversially say I thought the Ted McGinley seasons were better than the last few years with Howard.

I voted for Happy Days, but I'm also anticipating more seasons of Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy.

It's ironic though, I prefer both M&M and L&S to HD, but HD is the series I want most on DVD. And, funny thing is, although HD was the series that sparked "Jump The Shark", I think both of its spinoffs jumped much more. Shirley-less L&S is worse than Richie-less HD, and from the tiny bit that I remember, Seasons 2-4 of M&M were nowhere as good as Season 1.

I picked the "original" Happy Days on the poll, but I want LAS, "the spinoff" just as much, which is ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I chose Laverne & Shirley

I remember reading a post on the Home Theater Forum by one of the guys from TVShowsOnDVD.com and it said that first week sales for Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy were "nothing to write home about", and that Paramount was waiting to see if the shows had "legs" before releasing any future seasons. Keep in mind that some music was expensive to clear.

I love VHS and I picked Laverne And Shirley on the poll....

I would love to have a boxset of tapes with every episode!! (In glorious analogue so I can enjoy them as I did then (In analogue))
