for the first time, I finally saw SWEET DADDY on Good Times few days ago.

Sweet Daddy wanted JJ to paint a portrait of his girlfriend.

The whole family didn't like Sweet Daddy to deal with JJ.

It was Sweet Daddy's FIRST appearance on Good Times. James Evans was still around.



I noticed that Sweet Daddy WORE an ear ring in his left ear.

I was curious when the guys started to wear ear rings in REAL LIFE?

I don't remember that I ever saw a guy with a ear ring before in the 70's.

I noticed that guys started it in the 80's.


I don't think it was a BIG DEAL that some guy wear an ear ring.

Rerun was wearing an earing on "What's Happening" in 1978. So there were some men wearing them.

All the years I watch What's Happening, I never noticed that about RERUN!

It is great to have the DVDs, it is good to find something BRAND NEW that we didn't saw the first time around.

I remember seeing men wearing earrings back in the 1970s, but then again I grew up in California :lol:
