Ever since my sister was a contestant on Jeopardy in September (her show aired in December last year), I have now rekindled my interest in Jeopardy after over a decade. After the first commercial break, Alex talks with the contestants, who often share stories and stuff.

Let's say you did well enough to become a contestant. What story or stories would you talk about? I have a few stories I could share.

1. The time my family was on vacation in the Summer of 1993 and I got a placemat that had a map of the United States and their capitals. After a day or two, I had them all memorized and my sisters, knowing I have a great memory, kept asking me "What's the capital of such and such state."

2. The time years ago when my parents had company over and I came downstairs and said something that the guests thought was interesting. My mother then said, "No he got that from 101 Dalmations." I don't remember what I said.

3. In 3rd grade, when we had spelling tests and we had to come up with a word to study that wasn't on the test. I usually put random words in them but one of them caught the teacher's (and my parent's) attention. It was two words, actually: David Letterman. My parents would tape his show and I would watch it with them.

I don't think I have any stories that would display me in an intelligent light.

Id tell them about the time I tried to make a pizza, and it took over an hour because I never took the cardboard from underneath off.

I'd tell them about the time I started choking on a pen cap in the middle of class and didn't want to make a scene, so I swallowed it.

when I was like 5 I was sitting in a chair in the kitchen practicing my rhyming and I went "red...bed....clown... frown... duck... duck... what ryhmest with duck" I stopped and thought for a second and yelled "I know! F U C K!"

The way my parents mouth dropped open I knew I had said something wrong. My mom just said "Don't ever say that again"

Sounds a lot like the time we were camping and my father was drunk and was eating a steak for dinner. All of us raved about how good and tender our steaks were and he's sawing away like it was a tree trunk and complaining that it was tough and like eating shoe leather or cardboard.

It wasn't until we got near the end and we found out what the problem was. He was cutting so hard that he had sawed through the Chinette plate and had eaten a 5" diameter hole in the thing (along with his steak)!!
