I don't know if any of you out there know anything about cameras, but here it goes anyway.

I need a new SLR camera for my photo 4 class for this school year and I am pretty sure that I will purchase the Canon Rebel K2 SLR 35mm camera with a 28-90mm lens. My question or dilemma is, I have these 2 very good Kalimar lens that go with my camera that doesnt work (the shutter is messed up but the lens work great) and I wanted to know if the Kalimar lens would work on this camera. If they don't then these expensive lens are practically useless and I want to be able to use them because I have taken some really good photos with the Kalimar Lens'. I also have no idea what size the Kalimar lens are...I got this camera.. a Minolta X-370s (probably from around 1995)...at a Pawn shop and I dont have any idea what size the lens are. I dont have the Minolta lens that came with the camera. I have tried researching this on the internet but I cant come up with anything. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it!
