I live in the Washington, DC area, and I'm here to tell you, there's no better place to celebrate the 4th than on the Mall in our nation's capital. If you've never done it, put it on your list of things to do before you die. It is well worth the trip. Hope you all had a nice 4th in your own home towns. It is still one of my favorite holidays.
