I was just surfing the net and I found out that John Ritter's mother Dorothy didn't pass away until after John! John died on September 11, 2003 at the age of 54 and Dorothy died on November 5, 2003 at the age of 88. I had always thought that she passed away before John. As we all know John's father Tex passed away on January 2, 1974. I just thought that was strange. I wonder if she died from a broken heart after losing John. :(

Yes, I remember reading this when she first passed away. I forget where I read it, but they said that she died of natural causes because she had been having problems before John passed away. Personally, I think that John's death just broke her heart, and that combined with the problems she was having before was too much for her, and she passed away.

Wow, I always thought that she died before John, not after him. I think that's just so sad and heartbreaking, and like a lot of people said it's not right for a parent to outlive their children. :(
