We're having my nephew and his family over for a cookout later today, and we're going to a cookout on Monday.

Going to the Chicopee fireworks tonight with my boyfriend, not sure about tomorrow yet, and then Monday, going to my aunt's cookout with my boyfriend and then the Springfield fireworks that night, over the Connecticut River.

Also gotta hop down to Connecticut to buy me some fireworks... I'm a pyro on the 4th.

Is it illegal to light fireworks before the 4th of July? Like in neighborhoods and stuff... not like Disneyland, or events that light them. I want to be the one calling the police and spoiling peoples fun.

It is illegal on this county to light up fireworks. There's a pyro display by the lake but it is way to crowded and getting out of it is a mess. No plans here.

Depends if my aunt and uncle are having a BBQ or not. If they are, we're going there, if they're not, we're doing nothing.

Today - Had to work, going to nap the rest of the afternoon, then go for a few drinks.

Sunday - Afternoon BBQ at a friends house, then to a Staten Island Yankees game in the evening, then hopefully back to the party or to my local place for a few drinks.

Monday - Work on that fusion reactor project or watch TV.

We had the annual fire works display in my city last night and on Monday we will probably just go swimming and eat.

Sitting in the pool watching all the bikini girls is all I do from May-September every weekend.

Nothing, unfortunately. My dad and the rest of his family is at my stepfamily's family reunion in Montana til like the 4th and my mom is working this weekend + Monday. So methinks I'll be home alone all weekend. Tis a shame, because they have an annual arts & crafts fair every year that I enjoy going to in the next town over. Since my relatives are either on vacation or have to work, I have nobody to go to the fair with. :(

I am not much into those corny family picnic's. I respect everyone that does those, but I just would rather chill in the pool with a tub of Jack Daniel's and some chica's!!! I mean I love all of my family, but I get rather bored at those summer family reunions where you eat hot dogs and play football or T-Ball or whatever games you play with your family. I usually prefer the winter holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, at least you don't have to see your fat out of shape Aunts and Uncles half nude and can be in a nice cool indoor environment.

I know you're serious, but that's just hilarious. It conjured up images of my fat and out of shape aunts and uncles.

I have an Aunt who is in her early 40s who is near the 230 lb. mark and she wears those two piece swimsuits to our cookout that look like adult diapers. This is why I love Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I will probably go see an illegal fireworks show Monday Night because they are better than what the city does every year.

Hmmm well first I was supposed to have a party. And by "supposed" i mean my mom told everyone I was having one when I had no intentions of having one. Now someone else is having a party, so I might go there. I don't know...It's complicated. Me + social situations = not good right now. I might just sit at home waiting for someone's front lawn to start on fire because people are idiots and light freaking M-80s in their front yard when it hasn't rained here in like a month.

 This struck me funny - no wonder people get killed on the July 4th holiday! Get trashed, play with fireworks and play in the lake!

Also could read, get trashed, blow an arm off and then drown. :happyface

I had one of those the other dayyy.

As for my holiday plans, I'll be at home trying to sooth my horrible sunburn. I can barely even move. I saw my fireworks in Cape May last night.

The city is very quiet today.
I had a great weekend. The ballgame I went to last night (with fireworks) was a ton of fun.
Hopefully everyone is enjoying thier holiday.

I can't wait to get back to work tomorrow and relax.

I'm not doing anything. My friend asked me if I wanted to go to Fisherman's Wharf, but she's not sure if she's going and she hasn't called me back yet. Looks like I'ma be stuck at home this Independence Day. :cuss: :(

Ok, so my aunt (godmother) who I don't see too often came over today and we had a BBQ, so that was cool.

I slept thru a parade but later took candy from my cousin, played bingo at the carnival and won a chriping birdie, got pissed at this loud-mouth bitch who kept winning, met 2 guys my cousin knows, one of whom was rather handsome, ditched them because they either ditched us or my cousin planned it, bought markers at Walgreens, ate Wendy's. Woooooooo....today I had a life (no one laugh).
