I don't think they're holding it in the U.S. this time.

We're holding it here, but I'm not attending - I would have if they had been able to get Robert Plant in town a few days early to play. I think the tickets sold out within hours anyway.

We've got friends coming over for a swim and BBQ instead.

Whoops - I was wrong - Philly's holding it for the U.S. Cool!

Well, I'll be flipping back and forth between MTV and VH1 from noon till about 3:30.

Then when I get back from work at 6:30, I'll be back to watching MTV and VH1.

I thought tickets were free?
Anyways, a few friends and I were thinking about going to see the Philly performances.... but we just didn't do anything about it.

MTV and VH1 are showing the same feed, no?

I hadn't realized that until it began airing. It's shame though, since there is a lot of footage that could be aired. Anyways, word of advice: stick with MTV, their "bug" is smaller.

I think you asked this question a little too late. Anybody that has gone.... would've been gone long before you made the post.

I did watch Destinys Child perform, they were good. Could anyone else see up Beyonce's skirt?

I agree with you there, with 10 different concerts, it would be nice to see more. I think XM radio is broadcasting like 6 different audio feeds...be nice if the TV was the same way...

I've been watching since 12:45. I missed Bon Jovi though, DAMNIT.

Madonna was surprisingly good on "Like a Prayer". Then they brought that girl out... I almost started crying tears of joy. This is going to make a difference- maybe not a big one, who knows- but at least we are taking the first step.

If you want to watch it without commercials, watch it on AOL Music. It uses Windows Media Player streamin video, and you can switch between the cities you want to watch, or get a general global feed.

AOL is even ahead of MTV.

I saw Mariah Carey because Dawn French was introducing her. She was pretty good too.

I got to hear BNL on XM Radio, they sounded good. Toronto seemed to have a pretty good lineup.

Rats - I missed Bon Jovi and Deep Purple. Hopefully will catch them on a replay.

Hopefully it'll make a difference, but I don't know. I did go to www.one.org though.
