Some of you may know me, if not:

I've been trading on-line since 1995, from the VHS days all the way through to the current DVD days. I have traded on virtually every English and French language video trading forum on the net. I created Cartoon Preservation Society 2 when the first version went Bananas a few years ago, and maintained the 3rd incarnation. I am "retired" for lack of a better word from mainstream trading in the US. I now illustrate, write, produce animation for several studios in France/Belgium/Luxembourg.

Anyhow, be warned there are a great deal of scammers that frequent all of the trading groups. I created the first "bad traders list" back in 2001 which Lordsmurf now maintains. I've been a bit out of the swing of things lately, but I figured I might start up the list once again, perhaps inquire with the owner of this site in regards to leaving it up as a sticky.

These scammers (there are 3-4 big time ones) really need to be labelled publicly.

If I can give one piece of advice it would be this:
NEVER trade or pay anyone anything at all unless you can identify them. 90% of traders posting here, post a lot of other places. Any legitimate trader would not mind a "trader check" posted about them. The other thing to stay cleasr of are the ebay seller types. The "profiteers" are the ones that ruin this hobby. By profiteer, I'm refering to the type that plaster DVD-rips, Movies, sets etc all over Ebay and other auction sites.
