View Full Version : It's time to start demanding season 2 on DVD

Here and on other fan boards people constantly ask when season 2 will be out on DVD. The answer is always the same: "We don't know".

No more asking. I say that the time has come to start demanding a release date. NBC/Universal has treated us like crap for the last year: never airing reruns of 2nd and 3rd season episodes, not promoting the show through its whole 3rd season, cutting the episodes from 19 to 17, dumping it off into a hopeless timeslot and ignoring our grass roots campaign to save it from cancellation. Then when they did cancel the show, NBC never allowed the 12 minute epilogue to air, much less make plans for the show to air a dignified series finale. Now they are slapping us in the face again by blowing off the announcement of the next DVD release. And I don't buy this corporate tripe that they have no control over that. Please. Universal could make this happen real fast if they wanted to.

We were loyal to this show, as were at least 6 million Americans. We are willing to pay for the next 2 sets of DVD's and the least we have earned is the right to know when our show will be availible to us.

I agree on all counts! Does anybody have contact information that would enable us fans to e-mail or otherwise contact the right people?? It has to be somebody with clout, preferably the same person or group within NBC who produced the first season's DVD. Without the right contacts, our e-mails will be trashed and ignored.

Unfortunately it comes down to economics. I wonder how sales are doing on Season 1? That would likely determine whether we'll ever get the other seasons.
