Since you live in the UK, let me ask you a few questions.

1. Did they play the complete 44 second opening theme, with it's 12 second transition, or did they use the 50 second synidcated season 2 theme?
2. Did they play the complete closing theme?
3. Were there any commericials between the shows or after the show was over?

1. seeing as i havent seen it yet its this wednesday coming 6th July ill let u know. When it was broadcast on Channel 4 here it was the 44 second opening theme, with 12 second transition.

That's great that over there, there are no commercials. And I believe the UK also shows uncensored programs. Which is great! Over here if you say one bad thing, the FCC starts breathing down our throats.

As you know I am also in England!
Munsters#1 - It may sound good not having the commercials on that station but I don't know how it is in America, but over here, you have to pay for the TV service every year (as said above - public funded BBC). The problem being that you don't get a choice not to pay, even if you don't watch those channels, if you don't pay your licence you can't have a TV in the house at all! Even if you pay extra for SKY TV you can't watch it unless you pay for the public TV, because you can't have a TV, even if you never watch the public channels and just watch your paid for SKY!
Do you have a similar system over there or do you just pay for SKY TV?
I think it's fair to say that most of us feel robbed by our system!

In America, we have commercials about every 5 to 10 minutes in a program. Some premium cable and satellite channels don't have commericials.

Over here, we get a basic of about 10 broadcasted channels, for free. If you want basic cable, that can be anywhere from $50 (£23) to $100 (£55). If you want premium cable, that can be anywhere from $140 (£78) to over $300 (£167). If you want a Satellite Dish that picks up almost every channel, it could cost anywhere from $60 (£33) to well over $400 (£223).

We don't pay any type of TV tax, but if you want cable or satellite, you have to pay one of the above amounts once a month.

I thought that's how it would be. At least you get to have a TV and get some channels with it without any charge and then have the option of buying more. That's how it should be, not like here where they have us in a catch 22!
We have to have a yearly licence to have a TV which is £121.00 (well that was my last one, It will be more this year when it's due next month) thats about $240.00. With that we get 5 channels - which are usually rubbish anyway. That's why most people then pay extra every month to have sky satellite or cable and watch that instead!
All the channels have adverts every 10-15 minutes except BBC2 (which that munsters episode is on next week) doesn't always interupt a show, so it puts the adverts on before and after it!
I think it's fair to say we all hate those adverts, yet we keep getting them thrown at us when we are just enjoying a program!

Unfortunately I didn't get to watch it! I was at work and forgot to set the video to tape it! AAAAHHHHH!
That's the trouble with rushing around in a morning trying to get to work, you forget and then when it's too late you remember and give yourself a really annoying day - how many times have we all done that!
