I'm 29 now, so I was really young when "Hello, Larry" was on the air, but I do remember watching DS during it's original network run. My question is this....when the crossovers originally aired, were they "Hello, Larry" episodes or DS episodes, or were they both? In other words, I've seen the first crossover episode on DS season 1 pack, but if "Hello, Larry" is released on DVD, would it be exactly the same episode as the DS pack? Or would "Hello, Larry" start out as a regular episode with Larry telling his girls they are gonna have company and then they meet at the airport and everything happens from there?
I hope I haven't confused anyone....I'm really just wondering if there were two different versions of the crossover episodes.
Thanks,
Stacey

pt. 1 (with DS set scenes and the airport) aired as a DS episode and pt. 2 (which was mostly Hello Larry sets) aired as a Hello Larry episode.
HL wasn't a DS spinoff, I believe the crossover was an attempt for NBC to try to lure in viewers who watched DS.

It was crossovers for both shows. Both shows have the same episode title for all 3 crossovers

It was to try and launch Hello Larry into popularity a bit more. All of the crossovers were DS shows with DS opening credits.
