In an interview with the Bismarck Tribune, Brock Lesnar humbly admits that he was wrong and immature and asks Vince McMahon for a second chance with WWE because he has no other options.

"The night that I won my (NCAA) championship, this weight was lifted off of me, and I thought, 'This is the greatest feeling ever but the next day when I woke up, I never felt so empty inside, because I didn't know what I was going to do now."

He explained that his decision to sign with WWE was influenced heavily by one factor: "Eighteen years of starving," he said with a laugh. "It was (a difficult decision). It really was. Do I stay in school and finish up and play football, since I had another year of eligibility for the Gophers in another sport? Do I go on and follow my dreams as an Olympic wrestler? I locked myself in the basement of the house that we were living at for a whole month, because I knew the WWE wanted me. I didn't know what to do. I just made that decision. When I was digging in my pockets to chase my buddies out to go grab a beer and a steak, or something, and I was digging deep and there was nothing in them, I said, 'It's time to open a new chapter and see what happens.' "

"I had to go in with an open mind, keep (my mouth) shut and my ears open. They just didn't stick me out in the ring. I trained for a year-and-a-half, every single day. I committed to myself, I committed to Vince McMahon and I wanted to be a pro wrestler. From the day I signed on the dotted line, I turned that switch, and I just wanted to become an entertainer. I got the same feeling out of it as I did as an amateur wrestler."

"I wasn't ready for what (McMahon) had put on my plate (main eventing and the WWE Championship). I couldn't eat it all. I tried to, you know. That's just me being me. He asked me, 'Are you ready for this?' And I just said, 'Bring it on. Let's go.'"

"I wasn't ready to be traveling 300 days a year. I wasn't ready for the money. I wasn't ready for the responsibilities. I wasn't ready to be a father. I wasn't ready to be a husband. I wasn't ready for a lot of things. I had a lot of growing up to do. I was forced to grow up."

"The only regret that I would ever have is not doing something (the NFL). I can tell my grandkids and my kids -- I mean, I might not have made the team. I was on the practice squad, but how many kids from Webster, S.D., have got a football card in a Minnesota Vikings jersey?"

"I'm man enough to admit that I wasn't ready for that either, but I just threw myself in there. There's only one way I know, and that's full throttle and to the wolves."

When football didn't pan out, Lesnar was left without an athletic outlet. To get out of his contract with WWE, he had agreed to a non-compete clause that reportedly lasts until 2010.

He has been embroiled in a lawsuit with WWE trying to break the deal, but on Thursday he shifted gears and opened the door for a settlement and a return to McMahon's group.

"I'm ready for it now...with the lawsuit and everything going on, I just hope we can resolve this thing, and Vince can open his doors to me and just give me a second chance."

"I have no idea (where it stands). I guess it stands on the end of your pencil, when it gets on the Internet. That's probably where he'll catch the news. It's either that or me calling him. But I don't know what else I'd be. What else is there for me?"

The WWE does not need Lesnar, I never really saw anything in him, he was just a big goofy looking average guy. His mic skills were very unimpressive, his look was just kind of plain and not really that exciting. Plus his ring skills were sub-par. He got pushed way too soon.

I hope Vince lets him come back before 2010. I don't blame him for trying out for the NFL. I think anyone would have done the same thing, had they had an opportunity to play in the NFL. I know I would have. Hopefully Vince will see that, and give him another chance. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Brock is gonna have to show me more than F5 -ing the Big Show all the time.

Brock was a VERY Talented wrestler, And he was better than Batista in every way. He was also getting alot better on the mic in his last few months.

The only problem I Had with him was he was pushed way too fast. Hes already had 3 WWE Title reigns, He won the Royal Rumble, He won The King Of The Ring. They'res really not much left for him to accomplish. But either way, I'd love to see him back.

Breaking News: Lesnar to meet with WWE officials

WWE.com has learned through a reliable source that Brock Lesnar will be meeting with WWE officials.

When asked by WWE.com if a meeting with Brock Lesnar was scheduled to take place, the Chairman’s office issued this response: “This is none of your business.”

WWE.com is currently attempting to reach Lesnar for comment.

Its CONFIRMED, the WWE is trying to make WWE.com more like other wrestling websites. The way they have chronicled the JBL/Blue Meanie incident, the 18 Releases, and now the Brock Lesnar return.

It has been reported that Brock Lesnar will return to Smackdown, being the show he was on when he left in March 2004. The WWE is wanting a Batista/Lesnar showdown.

And as for Sable and Lesnar....IT'S OVER...

-- Despite the 10-year age difference and multiple tribulations, Brock Lesnar (age 27, he turns 28 next Tuesday) and Sable (age 37) were together as a romantic couple for about two years or so after coming together while they were both on the Smackdown! brand in 2003. As we all know, Brock Lesnar left WWE in March of 2004, but the two stuck together while Sable stayed in WWE for a few more months until she too parted ways with WWE last August.

Well, seeing how Brock wasn't competing anywhere, he had no source of income whatsoever. His funds have finally dried up and Sable has decided to leave him. There were plans of the two getting married sometime this year, but that would obviously be off the cards now.

-- There is no doubt that Sable leaving Lesnar had to be a factor on his impending return to WWE. And seeing how Sable has left Brock, that pretty much dashed any hopes for those of whom who thought Sable might follow Brock upon his eventual return to WWE.

WWE.com has learned that Brock Lesnar has met with his attorney, David Olsen, to discuss the written contract offer Lesnar received last week from World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. It is unclear when the contract will be signed. The terms were not disclosed.

Further Update On Brock Lesnar-WWE Situation

There were plenty of backstage whispers concerning Brock Lesnar last night at RAW as several people were saying that Lesnar is taking his time going over the contract that WWE executives have offered to him. One source said that he is “overanalyzing it.”

Of course WWE has complete control over Lesnar because the only way that he can return is of course on their terms. If he doesn’t come to terms with the company he is going to have to continue to try and get out of his no compete clause from his WWE contract that prevents him from working with anyone else for several more years.

As we mentioned before the whole WWE.com could be a work given the actions of the official website as of late. However, Lesnar's lawsuit that he filed against WWE has yet to be resolved but has been put on the backburner since contract negotiations have been ongoing.
