THE FACTS OF LIFE!
(I know right now Allison is thinking "What the hell is he talking about now?"...lol)
Let me explain...there is a point to this post...
A little while ago I was watching an episode of "The Facts of Life", and all was well and good, until the end credits, which informed me that the show was created by Dick Clair & Jenna McMahon. I kind of paused for a second, and said to myself "Wait, why do I know those nam...", and then I realized. Yes, ladies and gentleman, the same two people who created Mama, Eunice and Ellen way back when are also the one's responsible for Blair, Tootie and Mrs. Garrett. What amazes me, is I had NO idea!
I've read Vicki's book, been to pretty much every webpage out there that mentions Mama's Family (yes, I know this is where the "Um, get a life" line should come in...lol) but never has anything, well at least that I've seen, which, as I said, is quite a bit ever mention that both shows were created by the same two people. For years I have loved The Facts of Life and the same obviously goes for Mama's Family. I guess I'm in a state of shock, that not until now, did I have any idea they were remotley related in anyway.
Was I the only one in the dark? Or does this come as a suprise to any other of our 'regulars' here?
