Can any one give me info on the show "Empty Nest" ? Like what it is ? I know that it is a spin off the the golden girls and Estelle Getty was on it but was Estelle playing Sophia? Was she a main character or just a guest for one or two shows? Did any of the other golden girls go on the show? Do they play re runs ever of it? Is there a DVD of it ?

As you can see i have lots of questions so thanks a bunch to anyone that can help me out !!

During the last 2 seasons Estelle Getty was a regular. Sshe was in the opening credits and she played Sophia.The other GG's made appearances on the show while their show was still airing on NBC. The show used to be in reruns but I haven't seen it in reruns for many years. I don't think the shows out on DVD but I'm not sure.

Empty Nest is currently being shown here in England, its not very good, so your not missing much.

I don't know what you're talking about. EN was one of the best sitcoms of all time, at least till the last few years.
