L&S should of never been cancelled, even though we would be short Lenny, Shirley, and Carmine...it still would of worked, because people would want to see the change without Shirley and Squiggy, and then Carmine, so it would do well in the ratings, in fact L&S was one of america's #1 comedies from 1982-1983, and it scored as #25 at the end, just because of the drop, but without Carmine would really make people wonder what it would be like. I mean, the last season also had classic episodes such as "Gypsy" and "The Playboy Show", and Leslie Easterbrook was getting big in Police Academy movies in 1986, which would of made more people watch...I mean it could of at least lasted for 2 more seasons.
