Can someone please tell me if the theme song from The Greatest American Hero (Believe it or not, I'm walkin' on air . . .) was ever used as the theme song for Growing Pains. My boyfriend and I have a $50 bet on this. I swear I heard this song as the intro for an 80's sitcom . . .
Please Help!!

No it was never used as the theme for Growing Pains. The theme for GP was " As Long As We Got Each Other."

and they never changed it? Even it it's syndicated years?
Does this sound at all familiar to you? Perhaps I have the show wrong, but I would bet (obviously fifty dollars) that I heard it as the opener for SOMETHING.

Whoa.....The Greatest American Hero, I forgot all about that show, LOL but as an avid Growing Pains fan I am sure the theme song for TGAH was not used at any point as the theme for Growing Pains, but I am not sure if they ever used the song in an episode which could very well be, or maybe Kirk Cameron was in an episode of TGAH?

The first two seasons of TGAH are out on DVD, and I think the 3rd is due out in August so you can check those to find out if he ever was!
