I'm brand new here and frankly searching for some Laverne & Shirley trivia help.

I live in Atlanta and there is a radio morning show here, The Bert Show. They mentioned the theme song, which started a debate with folks I know:

- Is it Hasenfeffer Incorported
- or Schotz Beverage Incorporated

I've always thought it was Hasenfeffer. If it is the first, what does it refer to? (I vaguely remember a reason ...)

It's Hassenpfeffer, which means "Rabbit" in German, or so I'm told. According to Garry Marshall the whole "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Schlemiel, Schlemazel, Hassenpfeffer Incorporated" was a childhood rhyme from the Bronx.
