The story sounds kind of fishy, I'm hoping it's not true. But regardless, I wish her the best.

See how certain things in life are mind boggling? Someone like her who had some much going for her, looks, acting career, and starts using cocaine. Someone like Monique, who has nothing going for her is drug free, i just don;t understand-lol

so because you have good looks and an acting career means that its unlikely you'll do drugs?
isiahthomas 09-08-2005, 03:00 PM LOL@what Solomon said about Monique. Superstar you have to not pay Solomon any attention because he says ******** stuff at times.

So people who are considered pretty don't have problems like ALL humans do??That's why so many people are doing drastic things to lose weight & get plastic surgery all the while KILLING THEMSELVES both physically & emotionally to live up to today's society because looking a certain way is bad.Sure Lark Voorhies is pretty but LOOKING pretty isn't going to give you happiness or get you anywhere in the world.Yo, I'm not trying to be no preacher or anything but be a little sensitive to the things you say on here. I mean there are big people who reads this stuff too you know & they have feelings I assume.I'm not mad at ya.. just trying to let you know the deal.I felt I had to put that out there cause I'm tired of of insensitive comments.
Back on Lark Voorhies.. Hopes she gets well & everything is ok with her

Nothing going for her?...
She just ended a successful sitcom and is the host of two successful TV programs. Even her book is a bestseller. I think she has alot going for her.

What a shame. It seems like the only person who is doing well from that show is Mark-Paul Gosselaar. He's now joined the cast of 'CommenderIn Cheif' with Gennia Davis.
I haven't heard much on Tiffani Theissen. I know that Mario Lopez(a.k.a. moron'), got devorced from his wife a while ago. I knew his marriage would never work.
Dead Girl Superstar 12-30-2005, 07:47 PM Oh thats sad. Another child star gone off the rails...

LOL I think Monique is very pretty. She's just big. I hope Lark gets better too. I have been watching SBTB for days on DVD and I had no idea anything was wrong.
tv star collector 12-31-2005, 09:06 AM That is so sad. Lisa was one of my favorite characters on the show (after
Kelly and Zack). Funny, because Lark's character seemed to be the most
level-headed one on the series. I hope she has a successful recovery.
RIC FLAIR 01-09-2006, 01:15 PM SLATER SHOULD GET HELP FOR HIS STEROID USE.
msladysoul 02-01-2006, 09:18 AM Society is so shallow. If your pretty, nothing happens to you, your perfect, keep believing that. But, it has been proven so many pretty women in Hollywood suffer the most, because many think because their pretty everything will be nice and everything should be given to them on a platinum platter, they find life isn't that way. All the pretty women in Hollywood history and even today had bad lives and people just can't believe it because their so pretty. Well looks are deceiving and because something looks good on the outside doesn't mean it is on the inside. Everything that glitters isn't gold. If someone said some unattractive person was on drugs people would believe it because their not very attractive so bad things are expected of him. Good things are expected of pretty people but do we always get it, that's why were always so shocked.
But I hope Lark is doing okay, I do like her and hear she is a down to earth person and very good actress.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who didn't like Monique!!
moeee 03-19-2006, 10:37 PM I wish Lark a full recovery! :(
Say a prayer for her.
JO jr 10-10-2006, 08:53 PM WOW! I JUST READ ALL THE POSTS DUE TO THE NEWS THE IRRESPONSIBLE MEDIA PEOPLE CHOSE TO SHOVE OUT JUST TO MAKE A BUCK!
PERSONALLY, I WISH SHE WOULD NOT HAVE SETTLED OUT OF COURT. THESE SCANDALOUS REPORTERS NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. THEY GIVE A BAD REP TO THOSE WHO ARE TRULY ETHICAL AND MORAL.
I SAW HER ON AN INTERVIEW WHERE SHE TALKED ALL ABOUT THIS AND HOW IT DAMAGED HER PROFESSIONALLY; AND NO DOUBT, BEING ONE OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES (YOU GO GIRL!:)) THIS SLANDER WAS VERY HURTFUL TO HER. GREAT INTERVIEW. AND YES, SHE WAS ALL THE WONDERFUL THINGS YOU PEOPLE MENTIONED ABOUT HER BEFORE THAT SCATHING, ERRONIOUS, SO-CALLED NEWS CAME OUT.
JUST GOES TO PROVE YOU SHOULDN'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR & READ, AND AS I ALWAYS SAY, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH TO GET TO THE TRUTH! AFTERALL, HOW DO YOU FEEL WHEN PEOPLE BASE JUDGEMENTS UPON YOU, WITHOUT HAVING THE WHOLE STORY? IF SOMETHING BIG LIKE THAT EVER HAPPENED TO YOU, THEN YOU WILL APPRECIATE WHAT I'M SAYING. TO DAMAGE SOMEONE IS EASY, BUT TO REPAIR THAT DAMAGE, IT'S VERY HARD!
livsforluv 01-02-2007, 05:39 PM wow - who would have thought!
moeee 01-21-2007, 02:01 AM Saved by the Bell' Actress Sues Tabloid
'Saved By the Bell' actress Lark Voorhies sues National Enquirer for libel
(AP) Lark Voorhies, who played Lisa Turtle in TV's "Saved By the Bell," has sued The National Enquirer for libel over an article that included claims she had a drug problem.
The suit, which seeks unspecified damages, was filed Tuesday in Superior Court.
The suit says Voorhies, whom it describes as a "famous and popular actress," lost several "potential acting and hosting jobs" after the tabloid published a June 2005 article that said she was hospitalized for a cocaine addiction.
Her doctor wrote a letter confirming that she had no addiction and was not hospitalized for drug abuse, the suit said.
The tabloid story was "patently false and heinous," and humiliated her, the actress stated in her lawsuit, which alleges libel, invasion of privacy, unauthorized use of her image, name or voice and other claims.
Voorhies could not be located by The Associated Press for comment. A call to National Enquirer after hours Wednesday was not immediately returned.
