I think she's in a band now. "Jaded." Or she was.

Didn't I read somewhere that she *did* put out a whole album? Hmmm...that's gonna bother me now...

Yes, Tina Yothers did sing herself in "Band on the Run".

And yes, she is currently the lead singer of the band Jaded - They have released one album not too long ago, although I think it has only been released in the US so far.
