Since we've already been through what everyones all-time favorite L & S episode is and since the California episodes are coming up soon, maybe this would be a good time to ask what everyone's favorite California episode is.
I'm not going to say mine yet because I don't want to change anyones opinion.

I think To Tell the Truth was pretty good and you find out a lot about the characters in it.
And Class of 56 because they went back to Milwaukee, and Rosie and Terry and Eraserhead were there.

I love the CA episodes! To Tell the Truth was the first one I memorized (I've forgotten the last bit of it, but I remember the funniest parts where they're playing the game). It's one of my favirte episodes of all time, probably 3rd or 4th... And I LOVED Candy is Dandy, and Road to Burbank, The Dating Game ("Lint?" "Haven't you ever been in love?" "Ohh, that lint!"...BTW, what does Squiggy do with honey and how the heck does Carmine know about it?), Child's Play ("I ain't eatin' no fairy food"..hmm, haven't seen this one in a while, now I'm in the mood for it...), Bardwell Caper, Perfidy in Blue ("Oh Leonardo, we can't go on like this. We can't go on like this under Sven's ever-watchful eye" "Then how 'bout under the piano?"), Welcome to Burbank ("Rhonda Lee. Actress, model, dancer" "Shirley Feeney. Irish, Protestant, Democrat" "Laverne DeFazio. Italian, Catholic, teamster"), lots more!

"Well, Laverne is sort of childish"
"Childish? Childish? COming from a grown woman who throws tea parties for her stuffed cat!"
"Well at least I don't sew L's on everything I wear!"
"Well that would be pretty stupid considering your name's Shirley!"

Oh yeah, Perfidy in Blue is another good one, thanx for reminding me of it LaverneShirley! I memorize parts of episodes too. The game scene in To Tell the Truth, Carmines routine in But Seriously Folks, and a bunch of the classic scenes in the Milwaukee episodes.

Lenny: Ya wanna escort us over to Angelos house?
Shirley- Whats happening over at Angelo's house?
Squiggy- It's burnin' down.
Shirley- Well Where;s Angelo?
Lenny- Awe, when he took one look at that fire he moved.

Yeah, I memorized Shirley's dream in Perfidy in Blue. And I was watching my tape with Child's Play on it today (I told you I was in the mood...) and Sing Sing Sing was on right before it. I completely forgot about it, and I love that episode! And with memorizing, I memorized the part in Mother Knows Worst with the blue soda and stuffed peppers and tasteless blunders and stuff... but my faovirte part of the episode was "You know, you're Shirley's mom, and to me, that makes you sorta like a... sacred cow" That was constantly in my head in my little cow stage I had a while ago... (Don't ask...)

My favorite California episode is "The Dating Game".
Some of my other favorites are: "The Road to Burbank", "To Tell The Truth", and "It Only Hurts When I Breathe."
It's not a California episode but the first episode that I nearly memorized was "Hi Neighbor."

I liked the one where it's the grand opening at Cowboy Bill's Restaurant, and Shirley ends up throwing knives at Laverne.

My favorite's was "Road to Burbank"
and the one where they were at the party thrown by London Bridges. I loved it when
Shirley wanted to call herself Star Monkey
and Laverne wanted to call herself Lemon Pledge. lol....

Epstein: I refuse to speak on the grounds it may incinerate me.
Squiggy: We wanna be
like Ginger Rogers.
Lenny: And Fred Upstairs.
Jessica: Did the Devil make Chester disappear?
Mary: No, fear made Chester disappear.
