Zombies movies.

Your thoughts on them and The Land Of The Dead is coming in how many days? Looks good.I think the first Zombie movie I saw was Night Of The Living Dead.1969 verson, but actually I seen in it in the 80's,when The Zombies movie the rage, now there back. The most recent was the remake of The Dawn Of tHE Dead, which was quite good, now in the latest movie the Zombies becomes more intellagent. Also in 1988 The Serephent And The Rainbow was a true -based story.Return Of The Living Dead in 1986 or 87 was fair. There's hundreds Zombie's movies coming out and more to wacth. So when The new zombie picture comes out on DVD wacth it alone and with the lights off get scared all over again. Love Zombies movies.

I'm a big fan of George Romero's zombie movies. I can't wait to see Land of the Dead when it opens next week.

Hollywood for some reason that is beyond me has spent the last couple of years remaking classic seventies horror films like Dawn of the Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Amityville Horror. They are giving these films bigger budgets and casting them with bigger stars then the original films ever could have hoped to have, but all these films are pale imitations of the originals. And there is more to come. Wes Craven is writing and producing a new version of his 1977 classic The Hills Have Eyes (I think Craven sold out when he made the Scream trilogy and its all about money for him now). He said that if audiances flock to see the Hills remake that he will remake The Last House on the Left with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes...oaky maybe not. But with the way Hollywood does things these days, I would not be all that surprised if something like that did happen.

With all these poor imatation remakes, it is good that Romero is back with Land of the Dead. He can show all the young Hollywood filmmakers how to really make a horror movie.
