Any clue as to why the package from Cousin Wolverine was ticking-ticking-ticking-ticking when all it was was a will???
And since when does a 20 minute soaking disable an explosive ?
So,then a good, global and semi-catastrophic driving rain would take care of the worlds land mine problem :D ?
And why at the end of the episode where HM coaches Eddie in sports does he look baffled when Lily, Grandpa and Eddie mention vitamin pills when he knew about them from the start?

Wasn't the ticking coming from the Raven's clock? If this scene is from "Herman's Peace Offensive", I haven't seen it in years. Banned, you know. All in the Family did the same "Soak the ticking package" years later.
I think Herman was trying to not make them think that he didn't know it was Grandpa's vitamins. He really didn't know.
These are second season episodes and we ain't got the DVDs yet to do some quick research. But we will soon....

I have the Season 2 eps on VHS. The episode with the ticking package is The Most Beatutiful Ghoul in the World. Cousin Wolffie, as Lily calls him, sends them $10,000 to keep.
Oh, BTW: It wasn't the package that was ticking, it was the clock on the wall. Herman mistaked a ticking clock, for a ticking package.

1st time: Love Comes to Mockingbird Heights. Lester sends his fortune, $180,000. I don't understand why. He wasn't giving it to The Munsters.
2nd time: Herman's Peace Offensive. Clyde sends a little ink bomb for Herman.
3rd time: The Most Beautiful Ghoul in the World. Cousin Wolffie sends The Munsters $10,000.
Were there any other packages sent to The Munsters?

I thought the clock ticking was the explaination only when HM went over to
open the package near the light.
So, it was the clock from the beginning then.
I can sleep now.
Still unsure of the vitamin thing.

A second take might have been too costly to make, you can tape over a tape, but once you film something, you can't film over it.
