I don't know if it is true, but somebody at the hometheater.com TV on DVD message board said Sony did have Maude "on their radar", but there were no immediate plans as of yet to release the show. This guy claims to have insider info from the main studios, and a lot of people there believe his word. Maybe there is a chance after all.

I signed and I'm hoping Maude will find it's way to DVD. A very overlooked classic!

I don't even see it on TV anymore except for awhile back is was available on demand cable.

This show is another great show out of the genuis mind of Norman Lear. I would love to have this show on dvd or better yet on tv. They use to show it on on demand comcast digtal cable.

They showed the first two seasons on Comcast. I was very upset they took it off after that because I was wanting to get Mrs. Naugatuck episodes.:(

I was just on Amazon.com- now correct me if I am misinformed, but they have Maude and the start date of 1972. It doesn't have a picture and said coming soon. I think that if it wasn't they wouldn't have the info ready yet, would you? I really, really hope so!!!!

I hope they release Maude on DVD sometime in 2006. I'm wondering when is the scheduled date for Maude on DVD? That would be nice if they release it this year before '06 is over.

I'm starting to think now Maude might be coming to Season 1 on DVD sometime in 2007. I hope Maude will be out on DVD before 2007. I think the pattern of the DVD should have a blue sky saying Maude in the middle and a picture of her and the whole family.

I wonder if possibly Season One may come out February 13 along with All In The Family - Season 6? I sure hope so as I am getting sick of waiting for it. As slow as Sony is I will be dead before all of AITF, Maude, One Day At A Time, and several other shows by them finally get complete releases. :rolleyes:
