Well First Of all Is It The Best Book Out Their About TV?
Does It Give Small Tiny Summeries Or Does It Go In Depth And Tell Somethings You may Not have Even Known such as Why Valirie Harper Left the Hogan family?

Its probably the best book out there on tv. It mostly summarizes the onscreen goings on though. For example it mentions that Valerie Harper left the Hogan Family after a dispute with the producers but it really doesn't go into why. As for the summeries some shows have more then others. It really goes into dept for example with the continuing dramas. I have noticed a few mistakes every so often though so the book isn't perfect but I haven't found a better book out there about tv yet.

The book only covers prime-time shows{ shows that aired after 6pm), syndicated shows and Cable Network shows that aired in the evening.

Does It Give Like Network History Like How Fox Was Started Or When NBC Was On Top?
At the beginning of the book they have a history of network television plus the different eras of tv like the Western Era of the late 50's or the last era they have is the Reality era because reality is big now.

The Book would be a lot better if the RatingsSection went beyond the Top 30. How bout the Top 100?-lol I'm just tired of not knowing the Ratings for shows like

That's My Mama
Grady
Sanford Arms
Checking In

I wish they'd do a classic sitcom book. I bought a "TV Moms" book which is quite good... had Eight is Enough, Family Ties, Good Times, Jeffersos etc featured in it. Wish they'd do more!

They did do a sitcom book once that I bought in the early 80's called The Great TV Sitcom Book but I haven't seen any updated versions of it in a long time.

instead of the top 25 in ratings each season, i wish it would list ALL tv shows in the ratings for each season!
thats the only thing i would change in the "the complete directory to primetime network and cable tv shows: 1946-present" book
