Hi,
anyone know anything about the sitcom user " pioneerdvd ". We have a trade setup, but with my backlog it is going slow (as I indicated it would in my original email), have not heard anything lately and I wanted to do a trader check before I go any further (this would be a 43 dvd trade). Any help is appreciated and I certainly hope this doesn't offend pioneerdvd in the meantime. I usually take folks at their word, but with all of the happenings as of late, I figured I better ask the board.

Also, if a few folks could do me a favor who I traded with and give me a reference here that would be terrific. AND I know I owe some of you good people references too! This reference request is for the board member IKHURI.

Thanks
Tom

Let me be the first. Tom is an honest guy, very generous and always does a great job. If I find anything on pioneerdvd, I'll let you know. :)

Now to the patient folks who are waiting, check your emails tonight, looking forward to some upcoming trades, I am getting there guys, thanks for your patience and waiting.

AND since what I read about pioneerdvd, I am freeing up quicker than anticipated, I have NO ZERO time for any shenanigans, too many good traders and I just do not need to deal with this, the trade was going to take a lot more work on my part, so oh well.

Well, if Tom needed people to vouch for him, then I'm your guy! Tom has been faithful, quick, patient, and has had only good stuff to trade, and has done a good job on the recording. Any good adjective I can use to describe him, they can all be attributed to him! I only wish I had more to trade with him! Thanks for all the good stuff!

I don't know anything about the other guy, but perhaps this is all over by now!

I've lent many of my masters to Tom. He's always been honest and decent with me, never leaving me up in the air. His time estimation has always been perfect, which is a big plus in my book.

I have posted pioneerdvd on the bad traders list. She will not replace any defective discs. I am not the only one that she has done this to.

We had a 41 disc trade setup and was our 1st trade. She conveniently forgot 1 complete series of 6 discs to start out with. Which threw up a red flag. Then when I told her I owuld ship everything out to her except 1 series of mine until I got the one she forgot she got all pissed off. I told her it did not look good on our 1st trade that she done this.

She sent me the series and in the meantime I started checking out the other discs and had 1 complete series Gomer Pyle USMC 9 discs that were corrupt defective discs. She will not respond to any emails and still has not replaced the discs. cartoondvds1 is having the same problem with her. he also got a defective series and she will not respond to his emails either.

I sent her back the defective discs along with the last sereis I sent her for sending me the one she forgot.

This girl has bad complete series so if you plan on trading with her do not count on her replacing anything. I just chaulk it up that I got ripped off for 9 dvds and leave it as that. I am sure if this has happened to me and cartoondvd1 there are other people who have encountered this as well from her.

I am currently waiting on a 50 dvd trade with "karri" and she is no longer returning emails, My first trade with her was awesome 15 dvds and she sent out very quickly however it has been over a month since our large trade and i believe she is a scammer or recently has become one. As Mel has had bad dealings with her also. i would not reccomend trading with her unless she sends first and you check the discs.

my 2 cents

JAy

Sorry Solomon, yes we did, I knew I forgot some!

I am still bitter about Roll Out and On the rocks :happyface

Just kidding, email me on Sanford Arms, I know you want the pilot, but I would recommend for my ease that you just take the full dvd, I think the quality appears better than all my other versions.

I still think my copy of the pilot aired on NBC. I can just send it to you and you can tell me. There is no way the way that aired on BET in the 1990's that the way the quality looks

Solomon,
I think prior to this pilot, we have the same pilot copy, (low noise in the beginning) and it came from a trader on this board (not his fault, just the way the source was). I still thought it might be BET, I will watch in full when I transfer it and let you know.
